Kołobrzeg, one of the oldest towns in Poland is situated in the Parsęta River estuary directly on the seacoast. Its harbour entrance is at 54o 11’N and 15o 33’E.

The harbour takes in vessels up to 75 metres in length and 4,7 metres in drought (up to 2 000 DWT). Ship length and weather permitting, turnabouts are possible in a 95 – metre wide turning basin next to the port elevator or a 140 – metre wide basins at the canal fork.

Current upgrade work on the harbour entrance will enable the berthing of larger vessels (up to 80-90 metres and 3 000 DWT)and the utilization of ro-ro facilities at the end of the Koszalin Pier. Ro-ro services for trucks, trailers will certainly raise the port’s attractiveness.
